Strawberry sorbet

Delicious recipe for Strawberry sorbet.


INGREDIENTS


1 kg of strawberries or Strawberry 500 g
250 g sugar
1/2 litre of water
2 egg whites
The juice of half lemon small
Some mint leaves


PREPARATION


Clean the strawberries, remove the tail and put to boil with a bit of water for 5 minutes.


After 5 minutes of boiling, remove strawberries, drain well and make a puree with them through a food mill so that it goes well fine.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, heat the half a litre of water in which we disolveremos the sugar and the juice of half lemon, letting it boil for 5 minutes.


After 5 minutes, add bucket Strawberry puree and mix thoroughly the whole, which we will later put in the refrigerator to cool.
Once it is chilled, beat the egg whites to snow and add them, mixing well set.


Then put it all in the freezer and, every hour, remove it and stir well to go breaking the ice crystals, returning to once again put it in the freezer, repeating the operation every hour until we will serve the Strawberry sorbet.
Serve in individual glasses and garnish with a mint leaves on top.
